OPay has dismissed a viral notice claiming the fintech company is going on an “indefinite break” as false.
In a clarification shared by OPay, the company highlighted several red flags in the circulating notice, including the use of a wrong logo, incorrect spelling of “OPay” and a template that does not match its official design.
The company said the message did not originate from OPay and urged customers to disregard it.
The fintech also advised customers to rely only on its official communication channels for verified information and updates.
